Baby Avery at 31 weeks

Here are the pictures I received of Avery last week. He is suppose to weigh 3 lbs and 12 ozs. He is in the 57th percentile in his height and weight, so the little trooper is doing very well. Even if he entered the world today he would have a huge survival rate, but a short stay in NICU. So, I am trying to be good and keep on my rear end as much as possible.

One of the pictures is his side profile and the other is looking straight on at his face, you can see his nose, eyes and mouth. He kept sticking his tongue out during the unltra sound. The lady doing it said he has a full head of hair, I couldn't see it, but she knows what she is doing. He is such a perfect little boy : )

Lammers-Brune Baby shower

Aholt-Weber Baby Shower and bed rest

I have had all of my baby showers. We tried to get them done a little early so we wouldn't have to fight all of the holiday festivities in December and bad weather in January. Turns out it is a good thing we did because I went into pre-term labor on 11/24 and was in the hospital until 12/1. I am now on bedrest until the baby comes, which they are going to take me off of my meds the first week in January. But, I will probably end up going full term : ) I have to go visit the doctor every week for an ultra-sound and a non-stress test on little Avery. He is doing very well though and he is always very active.

More good times

When MU played A&M last year our cousins from Texas came to visit. They should have stayed home since we mopped the astroturf with them...But it was a great time all the same. In February of last year we went to Mexico. It was an amazing trip and my first time to see the ocean. The random picture of us is from Myah's play this year. I am pretty pregnant in this one : )

And the gorilla is from the zoo adventure...Look's a lot like Byron : )

summer fun and other adventures

We have done a lot of stuff together but I haven't been bloggin long enough to post them. We went to a Cards game in KC with Byron's brother Ryan and sister in law Jill. We went to the St. Louis Zoo for our anniversary. It was really fun....but very hot in June.

Our home and nusery

Since we live kind of in the middle of no where, I have several friends who have never seen our home. For this reason I am adding some pics of the house and our unfinished nursery. Byron put up the shelves yesterday, which I think look really nice.

Myah and William Soccer

Both Myah and William played soccer this year. They are both very good and their games were fun to watch.
